Hulu’s schedule for March 6-12 is ahead of schedule World History, Part II consecutively.
On Monday, March 6, Hulu will release World History, Part II in its existing content. The show is written and executive produced by Mel Brooks, who is also scheduled to star in the comedy sketch series. In addition to Sykes, Barinholtz, and Kroll, David Stassen and Kevin Salter are also part of the writing line-up. The original comedy film is a parody of the anthology film genre and includes various comedic takes on various events throughout history. Periods such as the Stone Age, events in Ancient Rome, and the French Revolution were all covered in the original film, which also featured various musical numbers.
“After waiting more than 40 years for a sequel to the seminal Mel Brooks film, World History, Part Iwith each episode having different sketches that take us to different periods of human history,” reads the synopsis.
The cast includes Jack Black, Danny DeVito, Fred Armisen, Jake Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Kumail Nanjiani, Seth Rogen, Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Sarah Silverman, Josh Gad, Taika Waititii, Hannah Einbinder, Sam Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas, Jillian Bell, Margaret Cho, Andy Cohen, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and others.
