Ahead of the release of The Flash this June, Ben Affleck expressed his feelings about the possibility of directing a DC movie.
After playing Batman in movies like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, the actor and director is very open about whether he will return to the company to direct. While talking to THRAffleck has made it clear that he won’t be directing anything for DC, no matter who is in charge.
“I don’t direct something for [James] Gunn DC. Absolutely not,” Affleck said. “I have nothing against James Gunn. Good man, sure he will do well. I don’t want to come in and direct the way they do that. I’m not interested in that.”
Affleck is coming out The Flash as Bruce Wayne/Batman alongside Michael Keaton, who will also portray his respective version of the Caped Crusader. They will be joined by Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, Sasha Calle, and Ron Livingston.
