The interesting story of the beginning behind one of the most beloved music festivals in the world, Forest with electricity, to be revealed soon.
An upcoming documentary titled A Million Shining Lights – 10 Years of Electric Forest recap some of the countless fan and artist experiences that made this legendary, Rothbury-based electronic music fest the event it is today.
The documentary trailer scratches on the surface-level details of how one of the most recognizable EDM festival experiences found a home at Double JJ Resort. The land space set up by the organizers was rather wide, but dense population of trees and leaves, which was initially seen as a disadvantage of the viewing experience. However, the owners of Electric Forest saw the potential of the close-up location and perfectly blended the natural scenery with the experience.
A Million Shining Lights – 10 Years of Electric Forest also includes insights from some of the festival’s many performers, including Louis The Child and 12th Planet, ug GRiZ, who stated that they have developed a special bond of experience that keeps them coming back each year.
“Even if I can’t book at Electric Forest, I’ll show anything else,” according to 12th Planet. “I was born again there.”
The mini-doc will debut tomorrow, November 25 at 7PM via the festival’s official YouTube channel. You can watch the premiere below.
