Game of Thrones Star Jerome Flynn is set to join the cast in the future Yellowstone prequel series 1923according to a recent report from The deadline.
Flynn will join a star-studded cast that currently features Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, and Julia Schlaepfer. In the next installment of Yellowstone franchise, Flynn will play Banner Creighton, a stubborn Scottish man who is the leader of a group of local sheep.
“1923 focuses on the next two generations of the Dutton family as they struggle to survive a historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle rustling; all wrestle under the cloud of Montana’s severe depression, which has been leading the nation for nearly a decade,” reads the synopsis.
The future Yellowstone The prequel was produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Executive producers are Taylor Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson.
The latest spin-off is expected to debut on Paramount+ this December.
The original series was created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. It stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and more. It is currently in production for the upcoming fifth season, which will air this November.
