Josh Duggar Asked for his release on bail after his arrest on April 29.
On Tuesday, May 4, legal representatives of the former TLC star submitted a request for Josh to be released on bail under a “combination of conditions,” according to court documents obtained by E! News. The documents read, “Duggar requested that the court allow him to return home to his immediate family while in this case,” his wife added, Anna Duggar, mabdos and at home with their six children.
In a previous court hearing, held on Friday, April 30, a judge recommended Josh live with a third -party guard if he is granted release. The judge also said Josh was not allowed to live in the same residence as the minor children.
Josh’s lawyer rejected this idea, writing the opposition that the former reality star “continues to live with his wife and raise his six children” in Arkansas, even as authorities raided his former workplace.
In addition, Josh provided investigators with his “harmless cooperation” throughout the investigation, according to documents.
