Kanye West, Billie Eilish Set for Coachella in 2022

Kanye West and Billie Eilish expected to head to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2022, but who else will emerge at the top of the lineup remains in the air.

Goldenvoice tagged West and Eilish each to end a two-week festival day, consequences learned. The news was first reported on Wednesday night at different.

Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, and Rage Against the Machine were previously announced as Coachella’s 2020 headliners before the festival was postponed due to pandemic. Last summer, co-founder Paul Tollett spoke to Los Angeles Times that Scott and Rage Against the Machine will play the long -awaited return to the festival in April 2022, while Ocean appears in 2023. A lot has changed in the months since then, however.

Scott said removed by the Coachella bill following the tragic events at Astroworld in November, while Rage Against the Machine recently pulled themselves out of the festival, according to industry sources.

This week, Goldenvoice is still considering its options for a third headliner: Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator have already submitted offers to play. The Swedish House Mafia, previously confirmed by Coachella for 2022, remains a title option – even if they’re not at the top of the list.

An official announcement on the line could arrive before the end of the week.
