Kanye West Calls Himself A “Genius” At First Look At Jeen-yuhs

On January 10, Netflix released a teaser for Kanye “Kamo” West documentary that has been in production for over 20 years: jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy. The documentary event, hosted by Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah | and premiering Feb. 16, will be presented in three works and is “a close and revealing image of Kanye West’s experience, which reflects his formative days trying to penetrate and his life today as a global brand and artist, ”according to the official description.

The teaser opened with Kanye in New York in 2002. “I got Coodie on camera,” as the rapper. “Rhymefest just there. ”

“Fest and I were arguing over the car,” he continued. “I feel like he doesn’t respect me. Tried to say I’m not a genius.”

“But who are you to call yourself a genius?” Rhymefest responded.

The clip continues with footage of Kanye in the studio performing alongside other musicians, including Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams. “It’s very rare that you meet people who are self -sufficient,” Pharrell explained in the teaser. “This man can do everything himself. He lives by it.”
