A day after Tom posted his statement, Raquel also broke his silence in the situation.
“I want to apologize for my actions and my choices in front of Ariana, and my friends and fans who invested in our relationship,” he wrote, in part, in a March 8 Instagram statement. “There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I have to own my actions and I am very sorry for hurting Ariana.”
Raquel also noted that she took the time to focus on herself from here on out.
“I don’t expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness,” he continued. “Right now, I need to focus on my own health and well-being and as I try to be a better person going forward, I will prioritize my mental health and learn from my mistakes.”
