Kelela Shares New Song “Contact”: Listen

I’m sorry shared “Contact,” a new song from his upcoming LP Raven. The album will be released on February 10 via Warp. See “Contact” below.

He previously shared the Raven singles “On the Run,” “Washed,” and “Happy Ending.” On the new song, Kelela said in a statement:

“’Contact’ has a little something for every part of the night. It’s a soundtrack for ‘pre-gaming’ (a song to play while you’re getting ready or on your way to the club). It’s also the experience inside the club: the warmth that surrounds you when you walk into a packed rave. All of this ends in a very sinister, psychedelic moment in the back of the club with a lover.

Kelela’s 7-date RAVE:N tour—announced last month— because it’s sold out. It starts on March 16 in Atlanta.
