We keep these facts to ourselves: That Baby Stone say something stupid and hateful. This time, the bigoted rap-rocker, who swore he wasn’t homophobic, shared a homophobic meme to celebrate the Fourth of July.
Rock posted the meme themed Kermit the Frog on Donald Trump Social Reality on June 30. “If you’re anti-gun, you won’t celebrate the 4th of July,” the meme began. “You shouldn’t have fought anymore. Enjoy your pride month. Puki. ”
Digging into LGTBTQ + Pride comes after a video came out last June on Rock throwing a homophobic slur of fans recording him during a concert. Soon, the actor addressed the backlash by repeating the same slur. “If Kid Rock using the word f ** got hurts you, good chance you’re one,” he said, before we were assured he had “a lot of love for his gay friends.” If that’s true, he has a funny way of showing it.
There are many other times when Kid Rock is the worst; so much, in fact, that last year we made an entire list (and it’s quick became outdated).
To be clear, many of the people who actually fought and died for our country are LGBTQ+ too and many of those who have served and survived are celebrating Pride month… many women too
