Yellowjackets now stars Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Steven Krueger, and Warren Kole.
“Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age drama, it tells the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness,” reads the series’ synopsis. “The series chronicles their descent from a complex but thriving group into savage clans, while also tracing the lives they tried to reunite nearly 25 years ago, proving that the past is never gone and what started in the wilderness is still far away.”
Yellowjackets created and executive produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. Executive producers are Drew Comins, Karyn Kusama, and Jonathan Lisco, who also serves as showrunner. Kusama also directed the pilot. It is produced by Entertainment One.
