There is a new one Law and Order spinoff forward.
As fans recovered from Elliott Stabler’s (Christopher Meloni) victorious return to expected series Law and Order: Organized Crime, viewers now have one more anticipation to look forward to-and this hour, it’s all about defense.
Famous maker and maker Dick Wolf is expansion of Law and Order brand with NBC’s series of series Law and Order: For Defense. According to NBC, the series “looks impartially inside a criminal defense firm” with a focus on defense lawyers and the justice system in general. Each week will focus on a “simultaneous death” approach.
CSI: Miami maker Carol Mendelsohn replaced as show runner and executive producer, along with Wolf, Arthur Forney, Julie Weitz and Peter Jankowski.
“This new show is exciting for me personally,” Wolf said in the May 3 announcement. “We’ve spent the last 30 years on shows playing on rage. Now it’s good to play defense, and being able to do this with Carol is an honor and an opportunity for both of us to be on television like never before.”
