Listen to Supergroup’s New Song

All-star supergroup The Dead Daisies Unveiled the lead single “Radiance” from their upcoming untitled album, set for this August. The new song comes as the band is scheduled to begin a European tour in early June.

Dead Daisies has seen many line-up changes since forming in 2013, but the band’s latest incarnation is composed of a group of musicians with impressive pedigrees. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath) directs lead vocals and bass, and is accompanied by drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner, Billy Idol) and guitarists Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) and David Lowy (MINK, Red Phoenix).

“Radiance” has great guitar riffs and loud hitting drums, while Hughes delivers his signature wide vocals in heavy rock tones.

“‘ Radiance ’was the first song we wrote for the album and we wanted to face a universal awakening with lyrical content,” Hughes said. “In music it’s heavy on movement and movement.”

The band is busy in a Los Angeles studio recording the new album with producer Ben Grosse, working with Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Slipknot, and more. A title, tracklist and exact release date are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Dead Daisies will begin a European tour on June 3 in Hamburg, Germany, which will see them play a variety of gigs with Foreigner, Whitesnake, and Judas Priest, including several festival dates, as well. A complete list of movies can be found with the band official website.
