Thursday night marked firstThe last supporting performance Lord on tour, and the pop star made sure to give our 2022 Band of the Year a fitting send off by taking them outside to sing their song “Woman Kind” together for their flock in Adelaide, Australia.
“This is a special night,” Lorde said as she welcomed the members of MUNA to the stage, gushing: “Can you believe this incredible band?”
Lorde also issued a warning before the song began in unison: “This is one of my favorite songs of theirs, and I choke, so, if I do, don’t blame me.” He takes over the lead vocals in the first verse, as if everyone in the crowd is singing to him.
“So grateful to @lorde and her amazing band and team for bringing us on this aussie leg of tour,” MUNA wrote on TWITTER after the show. “It was a pleasure to watch them perform and an absolute honor to sing with such a classy woman with her in her set last night. so grateful for this life as always.”
