Love and Thunder Featurette Shows Fun BTS Footage

Marvel Studios has unveiled a new one Thor: Love and Thunder featurette for the highly anticipated Taika Waititi Thor link. The film is set to hit theaters on July 8.

The video, which you can watch below, offers behind the scenes footage highlighting Waititi’s fun personality and filmmaking process. It also features Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman’s commentary as they talk about each of their characters in the story arches for the upcoming film. The featurette also revealed some new pieces of footage, which continue to mock its next level of action.

“The fourth episode sees Thor on a journey unlike anything he has ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher , who sought to exterminate the gods, ”says the synopsis.“ To overcome the threat, Thor enlisted the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex -girlfriend Jane Foster, who – to Thor’s surprise – did not ‘is an explanation of using his magic hammer, Mjolnir, as Mighty Thor. Together, they embark on a terrifying cosmic adventure to discover the mystery of God Butcher’s revenge and stop him before it’s all too late.

Thor: Love and Thunder saw the return of MCU alums Chris Hemsworth as God of Thunder, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who now holds the cloak of Mighty Thor and holds the iconic Mjolnir. Oscar winner Christian Bale will also return to the superhero genre, as he signs for the villainous role of Gorr the God Butcher.

The additional cast includes franchise alums such as Jaime Alexander as Sif, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Taika Waititi as Korg, and Guardians of the Galaxy stars like Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, Karen Gillan’s Nebula, Sean Gunn’s Kraglin, and Vin Diesel’s Groot.

Thor: Love and Thunder once again directed by Waititi (Jojo Rabbit) from a script he co -wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (A Great Man), which is a follow-up to Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok.
