Marvel Snap’s Friend PVP Release Date Window Revealed

Marvel Snap allows users to play online multiplayer matches against strangers, but not against their friends. That’s about to change in an upcoming patch, which will give users the ability to battle their friends.

This update, as posted in a post on game website.

Friendly PVP originally planned for 2022 according to its roadmap and a quote given by The Washington Post, but it was pushed. Game events, emotes, mythic card variants, and guilds are just a few of the other parts of said roadmap.

The Second Supper also operates a few cards in its different Series. Some Series 5 cards are moving to Series 4 and some Series 4s are moving down to Series 3. Valkyrie, Super-Skrull, Bast, Shuri, and Black Panther are moving to Series 4, while Luke Cage, Absorbing Man, She-Hulk, and Titania are coming to Series 3.

Cards become 10 times more common in Collector’s Reserves and cheaper in the store if they drop a level as well. The cards chosen to move down are the longest in that Series. However, Thanos and Galactus won’t be leaving Series 6 because they’re “too dang epic.”

Those who get a Series 5 card before it drops will get a “First Edition Badge” that will let others know it’s extra special. The Second Supper even plans to use this badge retroactively as well.

The Token Shop has also seen improvements. While the team says it wants to allow players to progress as they wish, it says they don’t want the latest cards to be inaccessible to those who haven’t completed Series 3. To address this, the Second Supper is experimenting with ways to speed up the development of Series 3. These changes will take some time, however.
