Crystal Dynamics continues to buck the trend of selling Marvel Cinematic Universe skins Marvel’s Avengers no helmet. The studio is now selling a helmetless variant of Thor’s skin from the 2011 self-titled movie.

This “unhelmed” variant entered the store on January 12 and costs 500 Credits (about $5) for those who own the original version. There is also a bundle that sells both for 1,900 Credits and a list with a free helmet for 1,400 Credits. The dress with the helmet originally came to the game on April 14, 2022.

Putting helmetless variations on MCU costumes is a new trend for Crystal Dynamics that started selling the team another version of Captain America’s 2012 Avengers SKIN showing Cap’s head completely. Many expressed their complaints about this practice in replies to tweets about these skins, saying that such small changes should be free for the owners of the base costume. This one is also specific called because, without a helmet, it seems remarkably similar to the skin from 2012 Avengers MOVIES.

The partner Post on the war table also noted that the Rooskaya Protocols limited event is entering its second week and that Thor, Hulk, and Black Panther will all get triple experience until January 19. All takedowns, emotes, and nameplates and most of MCU and non-MCU outfits are also 50% for those characters, too.
