The highly anticipated eternal from Marvel Studios is set to end this year’s edition of the Rome Film Festival, according to a recent report from Deadline.

The festival is scheduled to end on October 24 at eternal released just two weeks ago on Nov. 5 in theaters nationwide. The early premiere of the Rome Film Festival showed how well Marvel and Disney believe the film can be made, with director Chloe Zhao’s final film, Nomadland, earning him Best Director and Best Picture winning the 2021 Academy Awards.
While not likely to pull the major Oscars for eternal, Marvel clearly believes the film deserves to be paired with some of the other high-profile films that are regularly shown at film festivals. Adapted from Jack Kirby’s Marvel comic of the same name, eternal Enjoy an exciting new team of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to gather against humanity’s oldest enemy, The Deviants.
The film will feature a powerful ensemble starring including Richard Madden as the most powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as the human -loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as the cosmic -powered Kingm, Lauren Ridloff as the fastest Makkari , Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old soul Sprite, Don Lee as a strong that Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as a lone lone Druig, Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena, and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman.

eternal directed by Chloe Zhao from a writing school with Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo. It was created by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Zhao went on to win numerous awards including Best Picture and Best Director at the recent Golden Globe and Oscar for his recognized work in the 2020’s. Nomadland.
