On March 1, a Lufthansa flight from Texas to Germany forced to make an emergency landing at an airport in Virginia after being rocked by severe turbulence, according to NBC News. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority told the outlet that seven passengers were taken to a local hospital, although details of their conditions were not provided.

While Camila—who shared three children with the husband Matthew McConaughey—uninjured, she detailed the terrifying experience in an Instagram post on March 2. Along with a video showing the result in the incident, the model remembers how the plane “fell almost 4000 feet” while in the air.

“Everybody’s flying everywhere,” he captioned footage of food and plates strewn across the plane’s floor. “The plane is CHAOS and the chaos continues [sic] to arrive.”

Camila expressed her gratitude to those who ensured that the passengers were looked after after the ordeal, including the “kind” staff of a hotel in the area who put the travelers up for the night.

“And we got to the bar with 1 minute before closing,” he continued, “slept well, got on a new flight today, On the journey I’m on.”
