Mel Gibson Joins John Wick Origin Series The Continental

In the most recent example describing the temporary cancellation in Hollywood, Mel Gibson joined in John Wick universe Per Deadline, he will sing The Continent, a three -night origin series aired by Starz that will center around the titular hotel for the killers.

Occurred in 1975 New York City, The Continent study the backstory of John Wick centerpiece by a young Winston Scott (played by Ian McShane in the movies), who makes a terrifying attempt to seize control of the hotel after being dragged back into a world he tried to leave. Gibson will play a character named Cormac, with details of his role hidden underneath. Albert Hughes (Menace II Organization) was tapped as director, but there is no word yet on who will play Scott.

“What we explored The Continent Young Winston and how he and his team of colleagues found their way into the hotel we first met in the film franchise 40 years later, ”Kevin Beggs of Lionsgate TV said in an interview with April on Deadline.

McShane had previously said he would not show up The Continent but voiceover can work. About John Wick himself, Lionsgate said Keanu Reeves likely not to appear in the series but is in the talks to become an executive producer.

The Continent Mark Gibson’s first Acting TV series since recurring ABC’s comedy role Complete Savages. The actor has a long history of making derogatory comments about Black and Jewish people, which he previously made unhappy person for the greater part of a decade in Hollywood.
