Metallica Share Video for New Song “Screaming Suicide”: Watch

Metallica shared another single from their upcoming LP 72 Time. The new track is titled “Screaming Suicide,” and the band collaborated with “Eternal Light” director Tim Saccenti again for the video. Check it out below.

The band shared a brief statement about the inspiration behind the song:

“Screaming Suicide” deals with the taboo word of suicide. The intention is to talk about the darkness we feel inside. It is ridiculous to think that we should deny that we have these thoughts. At one point or another, I believe most people have thought about it. To deal with it is to speak the unspoken. If it is a human experience, we need to talk about it. You are not alone.

Metallica announced 72 Timethe follow-up to 2016’s Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, in November with “Lux Æterna.” they tour Europe and North America are widespread throughout 2023 and 2024, starting in Amsterdam at the end of April.
