Miami’s We Belong Here Festival Brings Sunshine and Breezy House Music

That three hour Lane 8 sunset performance was one for the books.

We Are Herea two-day event on Miami’s Virginia Key, combining beautiful weather with beach views, high energy, great food and pounding house music.

We attended both days of the festival, soaking up the sun and shaking our feet in the ocean to the sounds of Chapter and Verse, Yotto and many more.

The mainstage area of We Belong Here was designed by placing colorful, pastel-painted shipping containers in a large circle to create a sense of space. Two different beach stages bring the party to the beach, where you can see boats moored near the sea.

The Funktion One speakers beat the beach beat. Disco balls and paper lanterns dance in the air. The salty breeze and the lapping of the waves on the sand provide a dreamlike background.
