Next season on Saturday Night Live quite different from what we are used to, but not everyone will leave. Following the news earlier this month Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidsonand Kyle Mooney everyone left the show, Weekend Update anchor Michael Che he said “[doesn’t] there are plans to leave. ”
“I think I’ll stay,” Che said The Ringerby Bill Simmons in his self-titled podcast. “I don’t know, it’s hard. When the season is over it’s best not to make decisions like the end of the year because all you want to do is get out of there, you’re full. But August or September is usually a different story. I have no plans to leave yet. ”
Simmons laughs at Che’s indecision, as the comedian did before introduced by of his plans to leave: “You’re like Tom Brady – I never knew,” the podcast host said.
Che first joined SNL writing team in 2013 before becoming a featured player the following year. He recently surpassed Seth Meyers as the second-longest-running Weekend Update host, behind his current deskmate and fellow head writer, Colin Jost.
