Michael Shannon has revealed some details about his return to the role of General Zod in The Flash and how the villain can be a little different than he was Man of Steel.
While talking to Looperthe actor said that he has not been shooting for a long time, which may suggest that the role of the character will not be too big in the upcoming superhero movie.
“It’s nice to revisit the character,” Shannon said. “I haven’t been there for a long time. I’ll be in and out for a few weeks, so it’s a nice way to spend a bit of my summer in England. Andy is a lovely guy and a great actor, visually, and I’m happy.

“I tried to get back into his skin. He’s a little different in the film,” explained Shannon. “You don’t spend much time with him, so you don’t know much about what he thinks.
