Miley Cyrus‘ plan for Endless Summer Vacation apparently does not include another tour, according to a new interview with British Vogue.
“It’s a minute,” the “Flower” The singer acknowledged his live hiatus before reflecting on his final headlining arena show of 2014’s “Bangerz” world tour. “I see it as a question. And I can’t. Not just ‘can’t,’ because ‘can’t’ is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for happiness or satisfaction of others but myself?”
Later he shared his desire to create an intimate audience consisting of his family, friends, and team with the crowds of adoring Smilers. “Like, singing for hundreds of thousands of people is not really something I love,” he explained. “There is no connection. Uncertainty… It’s not natural either. It’s very isolating because when you’re in front of 100,000 people then you’re alone.
Looking ahead, Cyrus has hinted that her upcoming shows could take place at a luxury resort near you. “Am I going on tour? Yes, the Aman hotel tour,” he quipped. “Singing in the lobby for a complimentary massage.”
Since the “Bangerz” world tour wrapped up in 2014, the former Hannah Montana star appeared in several short live engagements, including “Milky Milky Milk Tour” with Wayne Coyne and the Dead Petz in 2015, a festival-based tour in 2019, and a South American tour in 2022.
Cyrus most recently released the music video for Endless Summer Vacation young “Tired,” and he is set to release next to his wife Dolly Parton’s highly anticipated rock album, Rock star, in November. Meanwhile, he will lend his voice to the second season of the Netflix comedy Nick Kroll Human Resources in June.
