The officer Mrs. Davis trailer for PeacockThe upcoming sci-fi dramedy has been released, featuring Betty Gilpin as a nun fighting against AI that has taken over many people. The series will be available for streaming on April 20 with the first four episodes, followed by new episodes airing weekly on Thursdays.
The video features Gilpin’s Simone, who must embark on a journey to find the Holy Grail in hopes of defeating the titular AI. Along the way, Simone meets her ex-boyfriend who has become part of a resistance movement against to Mrs. Davis.

Mrs. Davis written and executive produced by Damon Lindelof (Guardians) and Tara Hernandez (Young Sheldon), with the latter set as its showrunner. The executive producers are Owen Harris and Alethea Jones, who each also directed several episodes. It comes from Warner Bros. Television.
The series is described as an “exploration of faith versus technology – an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions.” Betty Gilpin play Simone, a nun who goes to war against a powerful Artificial Intelligence. She will be joined by Jake McDorman as Simone’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm.
The additional cast also includes Andy McQueen, Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, and Mathilde Ollivier.
This marks Gilpin’s second collaboration with Lindelof after working together on the controversial 2020 film The Hunt, which was co-written by the acclaimed TV creator. Gilpin gained recognition for her acclaimed role as Debbie Eagan on Netflix’s LAWwhich earned her three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
