Muse returned with their first song in four years. It is called “Can’t Stand”And it has a music video directed by Jared Hogan. In the clip, a weak figure sips the energy of an army to transform into a tall, demon-like creature. Check it out below.
“‘ Won’t Stand Down ’is a song about standing up against bullies, whether at the playground, workplace, or anywhere,” singer Matt Bellamy explained in a statement. “Protect yourself from sociopathic coercion and manipulation and deal with adversity with energy, confidence, and aggression.”
Muse’s last album, Simulation Theory, came out in 2018. Since then, the UK rock band has been released a concert and narrative film as a co -project with LP, an Beginning of the Muse box set celebrating the 20th anniversary of the debut album Showbiz, and a full-album remix of their classic 2001 album Origins of Symmetry.
