Young feel to music Nandi Bushell uses his platform to understand the effects of climate change. The 11-year-old multi-instrumentalist collaborated Tom Morello10-year-old son Roman plays guitar for the new song “The Children Will Rise Up,” with Jack Itom, activist Greta Thunberg, and Roman’s father who made music video clips.
Nandi recently returned to her home in the UK after a hurricane trip to the United States that saw her play drums next to the Foo Fighters at their concert in Los Angeles. On the same trip, he jam with Tom and Roman Morello, revealed that they are collaborating on a new song.
Now, here’s the new song, with Nandi and Roman both showcasing their amazing musical skills. The pair of young people co-wrote “The Kids Will Rise Up” with the elderly Morello, and it was wrapped up with a strong message.
Describing on YouTube, Nandi said the following about the song:
“I am proud of myself and Roman Morello for writing our EPIC song with Tom Morello! We ask that you love it and we really hope that our song helps raise our awareness for climate change! knowing about climate change at school I wanted to help make a difference.
I wanted to write a song about how I feel about climate change and I asked Tom Morello and his son Roman Morello to work with me. When Roman and I had already written the song we asked Jack Black and Greta Thunberg if they would like to be included in the music video! They love our song and want to join us in raising awareness for climate change! “
Revenues from the song will benefit the climate organization SOS Pantanal Institute.
