Neil Young continued to dig his vaults. On July 8, he will release the shelved Crazy Horse album Tosta by Reprise. Young and Crazy Horse recorded the 2001 album at Toast Studios in San Francisco. Below, listen to the record of “Standing in the Light of Love. ”
“Toast is an album that stands on its own in my collection,” Young said WRITES last year. “Unlike others, Toast is so sad that I can’t turn it off. I just skipped it and went on to make another album instead. I couldn’t stand it at the time. 2001. ”
“Toast’s music is about a relationship,” he added. “There’s a time in a lot of bad relationships, a time before the breakup, where it’s up to one of the people, maybe both, that it’s over. This is the time.”

Last year, Neil Young & Crazy Horse released a new album StorehouSe. Last year too, they released Way Down to the Rust Bucketa live album recorded in 1990.
