New Kids on the Block Announces 2022 Tour with Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley, En Vogue


New Kids on the Block got the right thing for “The MixTape Tour 2022.” The veteran boy band announced a move to skip 55 dates backed by fellow icons in the ’80s and’ 90s Salt-N-Paper, Rick Astley, ug hip.

The quintet of Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, and Donnie Wahlberg was the last to hit the road in “MixTape Tour 2019.” In a statement, Wahlberg explained the emotions of the new tour and why they named it “MixTape.” He said, “We had a blast with the first MixTape Tour in 2019, and can’t wait to take it to another level with our fans on the MixTape Tour 2022. Like a mixtape, these performances will take the audience- aw through all the emotions. To get Salt-N-Pepa back and now also have the symbol and legendary Rick Astley & En Vogue to join the trip… we’re not that excited. Let’s GO! ”

The tour will begin May 10 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and while New Kids on the Block will stop on the east and west coasts, MixTape 2022 specially focuses on the large towns in the south and midwest that other bands sometimes unnoticed. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 8, and you can book your seat Ticketmaster.

The Boys – now 48 to 52 -year -old boys – announced their plans for 2022 at a show The Kelly Clarkson Show. The group performed “Step by Step” with some of the easiest, easiest to learn choreography you’ll find on a professional stage. Clarkson briefly sang “Step by Step,” and when the music fell on Salt-N-Pepa’s “Whatta Man,” he joined the women in both the group and En Vogue in the choir. New Kids on the Block shared their latest song, the charity single “House Party,” in 2020. Earlier this year, Salt-N-Pepa received one Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Grammys, and Rick Astley hit a milestone of his own when it came to “Never Gonna Give You Up” a billion views on YouTube.
