On the “rocks of Cleveland!” news, Nine Inch Nails scheduled a couple concerts at The Forest City supported by alternative icons Pixies. The performances will take place Sept. 21 and 23, and the band has determined that it will be “the only NIN headline show of 2021.
The Nails have not returned to The Cleve since their 2020 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They’re a long way from Nautica’s Jacobs Pavilion Hall, and fans walking can have more of a museum display than expected. Almost immediately after winning bandmembers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross this year Oscar for Best Original Quality, Reznor SAYS, “We plan to work on the Nine Inch Nails material as soon as possible, tomorrow.” If they have anything they want between now and September, the Cleveland shows are the first time they feel it alive.
NIN will return to Cleveland for the very first time since the band’s presentation of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Visit the museum’s R + RHOF exhibition and see NIN’s solo exhibition headline 2021.
