After a lengthy closure due to pandemic disease two of Las Vegas ’most popular nightlife locations opened for business in March.
The MGM Grand Hotel’s Hakkasan Nightclub and Caesar’s Palace Omnia both opened back over the weekend in a holiday -style setting to look forward to socializing.
Hakkasan Group, parent company of the same venue, announced the expansion of operations for one additional day of the week at the same venue, allowing the return of a dedicated industry night. Omnia will host their weekly edition on Tuesday and Hakkasan Nightclub will host on Thursday.
Last month competing nightlife giant Tao Group acquired Hakkasan Group, paving the way to a joint entity with joint control of 61 venues and restaurants in 22 markets around the world. Their combined synergies promise to strengthen Las Vegas ’profile as a pleasure capital though.
“To get it back, if we have the same international reach throughout, a force that will bring people to Las Vegas, because people will know and become fans of these brands and experiences, “said Tao Group’s Jason Strauss Weekly in Las Vegas. “
“And if they’re thinking about where to travel for pleasure or business, Las Vegas can be a prime destination, because they can experience things that they’re loyal to in other markets,” he continues. “It’s been a huge win for Vegas and for us, because our goal has always been to bring people to the main markets we call home.”
