Cult country artist Orville Peck revealed his cover of Lady GagaIn 2011, “Born This Way” was hit. The track was recorded for the upcoming Gaga reimagined version in Born This Way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his sixth album.
Officially titled “Born This Way (The Country Road Version)”, the cover features Peck giving his own spin while much remains true to the original lyrics. However, he added more destructive skill while singing, “If I want to make this country, baby, it’s okay / I was born, I was born, I was born like this / From London, Paris, Japan, back to USA / I was born on the road, I was born to be brave. ”

Speaking of the road, Peck also announced his 11-date “Summertime Tour.” It was the first time performing in front of live crowds as COVID-19 closed to the world last year.
The U.S. tour opened with Peck’s appearance at the Under the Big Sky Festival in Whitefish, Montana before stopping in Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Madison, Wisconsin. He will also play a couple of dates in Davenport, Iowa, and make additional festival appearances in Lollapalooza and Hinterland Music Festival.
