Outlander Season 6 New Opening Credits Appears Claire Holding a Rifle


Starz revealed their new Outlander season 6 opening credits sequence in a haunting video featuring another rendition of the show’s theme song.

Starz revealed the Outlander season 6 opening credits in a terrifying new video. the Outlander sequentially, based on the ongoing series of novels of the same name by Diana Gabaldon, premiered for the first time in August of 2014. Since then, it has almost always received almost universal praise from critics, who praised the impressive depth and intensity of the show. chemistry between the lead couple, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe).

Outlander Season 5 ended with a lot of twists and turns, most of which were anticipated by fans of Gabaldon’s book series. Some twists, however, jump ahead of the timeline, except for the fifth book, which is titled The Burning Cross. Based on the sixth book in the series, A Breath of Snow and Ash, Outlander season 6 is expected to take over immediately after the events of the season 5 finale, which saw the couple face the fallout and Lionel Brown (Ned Dennehy) attacks Claire. Not only will the upcoming season dive into a new book in the series, but it’s also set to have new opening credits as well.

Starz released a haunting video on their YouTube account showing Outlander season 6 opening credit sequence. Shows how “thankful“they that”Outlander fans, “the credits have a new rendition of the show’s theme song, Skye’s Boat Song, by Raya Yarbrough and Griogair Labhruidh. The series also mixes shots that have been a staple in the credits since season 1, as well as new scenes taken from around Fraser’s Ridge. New scenes in the opening credits include Claire holding a rifle and close moments between them and Jamie. The sequence also offers a glimpse of Ian, Jamie’s nephew, sitting by the fire and Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin) kneeling in prayer. The entire sequence ends with a shot of Jamie and Claire looking out at the hills of North Carolina as the snow begins to fall around them. One thing to know about the new credits is that unlike the theme song of season 5 that featured a choir or previous seasons that included a stunning solo, the Outlander season 6 credits song consists of a duet between a man and a woman. This change of direction may be aimed at strengthening Jamie and Claire’s relationship as they head into uncertain territory.

Fans of the hit series Starz may be disappointed with the fact that the extends Outlander time will include only eight total episodes (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). However, season 7 has been extended from 12 episodes to 16 episodes to make a difference. However, given the beautiful rendition of the new opening theme song, as well as new visuals, fans can expect Outlander season 6 to be as memorable as previous seasons. New episodes are expected to fall starting March 6, 2022.
