According to The deadlinefull production of Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated action sci-fi sequel Dune: Part Two scheduled to start later this month on July 21 which is expected to happen again in Budapest, Hungary. The outlet says the second installment led by Timothee Chalamet has already started pre-filming in Italy, which was reportedly shot by Carlo Scarpa.
The film’s release date was recently pushed to almost a month from October 20, 2023 to November 17, 2023, which will now battle the film against two high-profile films including the dystopian prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Birds and Snakes and fantasy comedy if they star John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds.

Dune: Part Two directed again by Denis Villeneuve. The returning cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin. They include Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha, and Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot.
Last year, Dune gained critical acclaim from fans and critics. Earlier this year, it also garnered 10 Academy Award nominations and won six of them including Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Visual Effects.

Production is expected to begin this July. It is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 20, 2023.
