Constant companions Paul van Dyk and Alex MORPH pay homage to the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana with their latest collaboration an instrumental tribute to Stranger Things.
MORPH and van Dyk abandoned their collaborative uplifting approach of the past, choosing instead to bridge the gap between progressive house and trance with a set of futuristic sounds. Featuring analog arpeggios, plucked bass twangs and frenetic modular basslines, “Hawkins Square” has the makings of a tribute to the smash hit sci-fi series.
In a press release shared by EDM.comvan Dyk aptly explained that the track was inspired by the concept of two alternate worlds on a collision course.
