Pavement Announces Deluxe Terror Twilight Reissue, Share New Song: Listen

Pavement announced a deluxe reissue of their fifth and final studio album Twilight Terror, originally released in 1999. The wide Twilight Terror: Horizontal Coercion arrives April 8 through Matador, and will feature 45 songs — 28 of which are unreleased tracks, in addition to the original album, B-sides, demos, live recordings, rehearsal tapes, and rough tracks from Pavement’s scrapped session at Echo Canyon studio at Sonic Youth. They also shared the previously unreleased “Be the Hook. ” Check it out below.

Twilight Terror: Horizontal Coercion will be released in 4xLP and 2xCD editions, and will include a booklet of unseen photos as well as commentary from band members and producer Nigel Godrich. The reissue of the LP will restore the proposed order of Godrich’s album, while the CD version will retain the track order the band released in 1999.
