It is set to include a mix of grounded storytelling with absurd elements, where it will reflect Davidson’s real-life persona “with an unapologetically unfiltered, R-rated storytelling.”

The series was co-written by Davidson, Judah Miller, and Dave Sirus, who also co-wrote Judd Apatow’s The King of Staten Island, which was also inspired by Davidson’s life. The executive producers are Sirus, Miller, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David, with Miller serving as showrunner.
