“The live-action series tells the unique story of the titular 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who only recently realized his new supernatural powers when he was accused by the god of heaven Zeus who stole his master of lightning. Now Percy must travel across America to find it and restore order to Olympus, ”reads the synopsis.

Three new character descriptions are listed below:

  • Clarissa La Rue by Goodjohn – daughter of Ares, god of war. He was a strong willed and competitive fighter who would not let much hinder his victory. Very loyal to his close friends, he was afraid of newcomers and Percy’s bullying.
  • Bushnell’s Luke Castellan – is the Hermes cabin advisor and arguably the coolest kid on the block, Luke seems like he’s more at home with a surfboard than Greek armor. That doesn’t stop him from being the best swordsman around.
  • Morton’s Nancy Bobofit – is said to always tell her mind at the expense of others. Strong, proud and nurtured by the teacher, Nancy took particular pleasure from choosing Percy.

The series now stars Walker Scobell (The Adam Project) as the titular demi-god, Leah Sava Jeffries (Empire) as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri (Disney’s round) as Grover Underwood, Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as Mr. D, Virginia Kull (Big Little Lie) as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman (Fargo) as Chiron, Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) as Mr. Dodds, and Timm Sharp (Briarpatch) as Gabe Ugliano.
