Peter Dante, the veteran actor known for his roles in films such as The Waterboy, caught on camera grumbling at a hostess after being denied entry to a Los Angeles restaurant for refusing to wear face mask.
The incident happened at Quarters Korean BBQ in LA’s Koreatown on Monday. As shown in the footage captured by TMZ, Dante responds to the hostess by making several taunts, including “trash” and “c*nt.” On one occasion, Dante also told the woman, who looked Asian, to “go back to where you are…” before seemingly apprehending himself and telling the woman instead, “go back to school.”
After a manager told Dante that he would not talk to him without a face mask, Dante told him “no” and walked away from the restaurant.
In September, Dante arrested and charged with a crime after he allegedly threatened to kill his neighbor because of the loud construction noise. He will return to court on Jan. 12.
Dante has appeared in several Adam Sandler films over the past two decades, including playing quarterback Gee Grenouille in The Waterboy; Tommy Grayton in Great Dad; and Officer Peter Dante in Adults 2. He also appeared in the 2006 stoner comedy Grandma’s son playing with Dante, the marijuana dealer.
