The rumors seem accurate. Sony announced that it will be making a PlayStation State of Play next week on Thursday, June 2 at 3pm on PT.

The company went into more detail on PlayStation Blog. The presentation will be about 30 minutes and will focus on third-party games and PlayStation VR2, including “many” games for the virtual reality headset.

Of course, no announcements have been given about what games will take place there. Only one PS VR2 game has been officially revealed – Horizon Call of the Mountain – leaving tons of room for revelations and ports of games on other VR headsets.

Third -party games are harder to nail. However, Games Beat reporter and reporter Jeff Grubb noticed that Street Fighter 6 maybe show up. Sony and Capcom are used to revealing games together, including Resident Evil 2 remake and Resident Evil Villagejust to name a few. Street Fighter V also a PlayStation 4 console exclusive, too. Capcom even said that players can expect new information in the summer.

There is also the possibility of Final Fantasy XVI appears, as Square Enix said in the trailer padulong na after the spring deadline was lost. Similarly, naa unta others Final Fantasy VII news in June, according to Tetsuya Nomura. That doesn’t mean an announcement of the second part of the remake will come, but it’s something to keep in mind.

It’s also worth remembering that this isn’t a presentation like E3. These are called “showcases” and those where Sony releases the biggest titles, as happened last year Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. That presentation has not yet been announced.
