Presley Gerber Becomes Candidate for Her Depression and “Mistakes”

Presley Gerber speaks frankly about mental health.

The model—son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber— recently shared her experiences with depression, as well as mental health initiatives that he hopes to undertake.

“So, for me and struggling with mental health, depression and other things that go along with that, I think if I can help one person or a hundred people get out of the place that I was at some point in my life. , that’s all I have to do,” the 23-year-old said on February 28 in Studio 22 podcast. “I had a lot of experiences. I had a lot of deep dives, a lot of vacations and a lot of time to look at myself and learn about myself with therapists.”

Gerber recalls being 17 years old and recording music in a studio because he “wanted an outlet” to “share some of my experiences with some people.” He’s also “thinking of literal clothing brands around mental health” as a way to raise awareness.

“It’s a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s a lot of it,” Gerber continued. “That’s exactly what I want to do—help people, even if you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that has a negative effect on your body. I mean it can be anything, and there’s no judgment.”
