Protester disrupted Louis Vuitton’s Runway Show During Fashion Week

On Tuesday, October 5, an activist from the organization Les Amis de la Terre France, translated by Friends of the World, walked toward the immediate runway carrying a sign that read “excessive consumption = extinction.”

Told by an attendee Reuters that those in the front row, including Catherine Deneuve and Isabelle Huppert, showed that nothing hindered the distraction of their viewing of the performance, which was held at the Louvre.

And, in their commitment, the models also maintained their composure as security guards took the protesters.

Paris Fashion Week saw its fair share of runway crashers. Two years ago, French YouTuber Marie Benoliel, aka Marie sighed, climbed the runway during Chanel’s spring-summer 2020 show.
