Netflix has announced the official release date for the highly anticipated premiere of Ragnarok Record Season 2 Part 2. New episodes of the hit fantasy anime series will be available for streaming on July 12.
Additionally, a new key art poster has been revealed that teases Buddha’s epic fight against Zerofuku. Character portraits also dropped giving fans a first look at Hades, Hajun, and Beelzebub, voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu, Tetsu Inada, and Daisuke Manikawa, respectively.
What is the Ragnarok Record?
“Man’s greatest heroes battle the gods to save the human race,” reads the series’ synopsis. “Once every millennium, the gods gather to decide whether humanity deserves its continued existence or whether it will be destroyed! When the verdict is doom, the final battle between gods and mortal heroes will decide the survival or extinction of the human race—a battle known as Ragnarok!
Record of Ragnarok is based on the manga Record of Ragnarok, written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The anime series adaptation comes from Graphinica and Yuneta Company. The first part of Record of Ragnarok Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger showing Buddha shocking everyone after declaring himself as the newest champion for humanity.
