Rihanna Surprised fans on Sunday, March 5 by allowing them to have a rare glimpse of her adorable 10 month old son which he shared A $AP Rocky. He was carried by the pregnant “Umbrella” singer Instagram to share snaps of his son and make a crack about him being upset that he missed his performance live on 2023 Academy Awards. “My son when he found out his brother was going to the Oscars and not him,” Rihanna captioned a photo of the adorably grumpy boy (below). He tagged the cute post, “@theacademy #oscarnominee #oscarperformancein1week.”
In another photo, Rihanna can be seen holding her son, whose name has not been released, while she watches his mom’s music videos on a laptop. And in a clip added to the post, the hip hop heiress laughs while lying on Rihanna’s lap. So cute!
For her upcoming Oscar performance, Rihanna sang her single “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, that is NOMINEES for Best Original Song. This is Rihanna’s first nomination, and she will be up against the previous winner Lady Gagawho received a nod for him Top Gun: Maverick song “Hold My Hand.”
While she joked that her son was jealous of her future sibling, Rihanna’s efforts to keep her second pregnancy a secret are no laughing matter. Fans didn’t know about Rihanna’s baby bump until she revealed it during her time amazing halftime show on Super Bowl LVII! It’s a secret, though Rihanna’s own father does not know the couple waited until he performed at State Farm Stadium.
And although she remains somewhat private about her pregnancies, motherhood certainly suits Rihanna, as she gushed about it during an interview promoting her. Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 show. “Life starts all over again when you become a parent, it’s a life you’ve never known before,” he said in Access to Hollywood. “When he looks at me in my eyes, my whole soul is like…I can’t tell if it’s cold or hot,” he said. “It’s like dropping, it’s so amazing.”
