All the WWE rumors and news today

Here are all the WWE rumors, news, and leaks that showed up on our radar today, May 19.

Roman Reigns’ Money In The Bank Plans

It has been stated before that Roman Reigns advertised for the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view on July 1 in London, England.

Now, a new report from WRKD Wrestling on Twitter says that an idea is being discussed so that Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa draw their own blood on Jimmy and Jey Uso.

This would free up Roman Reigns for a potential Championship defense at WWE SummerSlam in August.

Roman and Solo will challenge Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the WWE Tag Team Championship at the WWE Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia.

AEW Clash Update

AEW Saturday Clash continues to take form ahead of his debut on June 17. A new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select says that a top Superstar is set to help create the new program.

Reportedly, Bryan Danielson will help the creatives for the new show. The former Daniel Bryan is no stranger to this role, as he was part of the WWE creative team during his last run with the sports entertainment juggernaut.

During his push as a singles star, Big E credited Bryan as one of his biggest supporters behind the scenes.

Update by Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has not been seen in WWE since WrestleMania 39. He was drafted by the Monday Night Raw brand as part of the 2023 WWE Draft but was recently removed from promotional material for WWE Money in the Bank.

According to a new report from Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Drew’s upcoming return comes down to both sides agreeing on creative plans for the former WWE Champion.

McIntyre’s contract with WWE reportedly expires in early 2024.

AEW Reportedly Rehired Ace Steel ‘Months Ago’

In the latest update about Ace Steel and CM Punkstatus of AEW. Nick Hausman of the House of Wrestling reports that AEW rehired Steel months ago, and he’s been working with Tony creatively.

Steel has reportedly agreed to return to the road with launch company AEW Collision. However, the company has since decided that Steel will not be able to return to his regular behind-the-scenes role.

Steel was fired after a brawl backstage at AEW All Out 2022 involving himself, CM Punk, and The Elite. CM Punk is expected to be announced to return along with the launch announcement for AEW Collision. However, Warner Bros. Discovery would later issue a statement saying that CM Punk was not associated with the program at this time.
