The latter Ronald Reagan had one of the most remarkable careers of any former President of the United States. Before serving as the 40th Commander-in-Chief from 1981 to 1989, he took Hollywood as an actor! The handsome native of Illinois made his mark in films like the 1940’s Knute Rockne, All American and on the small screen that hosts the General Electric Theatre show Ronald even became the president of Screen Actors Guild twice!

Maureen Elizabeth Reagan
Ronald is married to a fellow Hollywood star Jane Wyman from 1940 to 1948 after the 1938 set meeting Brother Rat. Ronald and Jane adopted the child Michael Edward on March 18, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA. After Ronald and Jane divorced, he married another actress, Nancy Davis, aka Nancy Reagan. They welcomed their first child, a daughter Patti Davis, on October 21, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA. He changed his name from Reagan to his mother’s maiden name of Davis “as a way of gaining an independent identity,” according to the Ronald Reagan Library.
The actress, model, and author dated the Eagles guitarist Bernie Leadonactor Timothy Hutton and actor Peter Strauss before his marriage to Paul Grilley. He has no children.
Ronald Prescott Reagan
