The latest single from fast-rising bass music producer rSUN is probably his heaviest yet.
“I Got Something” is a spine-tingling trap banger and yet another reminder of why rSUN is an artist to watch in 2022. Awesome but electrifying, the track is a masterclass of bass layering. The young beatsmith is changing his ability to create and interpolate non-stop bass patches, a technique that fans know very well thanks to his successful Jadū Dala hit, ”How to Do It. “
RSUN wasted no time on “I Got Something,” immediately launching a nasty verse with saturated kicks and a low end so thick that it wouldn’t melt under one you magnifying glass. He soon artistically mutates the arrangement into a tense build, which eventually culminates in a wonky drop running down the roughshod with evil saws.

The new track, which comes through ALRT’s NRG Records, is the latest of several impressive releases by the Richmond-based young gun. At the time of writing, he had two songs climbing the Beatport’s Top 100 Trap/Wave chart, including “The Way To Do It,” which is currently at #4 behind the music of Yellow Claw and Weird Genius (“Lonely “); Skrillex, Noisia and josh pan (“Supersonic”); and ISOxo (“REDloop”).
And the best part? There is a lot more new music from rSUN this year:
