Shang-Chi’s Simu Liu in Doctor Strange 2 Rumors: Please Stop Asking

Simu Liu asked fans to “please stop asking” if Shang-Chi could appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Simu Liu told the fans “stop asking” if he shows up Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Liu, who plays Shang-Chi at MCU, is rumored to be coming out Multiverse in Madness, the second installment of Doctor Strange sequentially. Shang-Chi is the best martial artist in the Marvel universe and acquired The Ten Rings, powerful alien technology from the Makluan, at the end of his solo film.

Shang-Chi ended with Wong finds Shang-Chi and Katy. With Sorcerer Supreme interested in him and The Ten Rings, Liu’s involvement is in the future Doctor Strange the film seems to have become more likely. Unlike other recent Marvel projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw several major leaks prior to the film’s release, information released to the public about Doctor Strange 2 kept very little. The lack of information has therefore resulted in many fans asking what surprises, such as the appearance of Shang-Chi, Marvel might be trying to keep their arms out of.

In a recent post, Liu asked the fans “Please stop asking me if I’m in Doctor Strange.” In the actor’s New Year post, where he described 2021 as “The most incredible year of my life,” Liu told that to the fans “I really don’t know how clear I am yet.” Despite his anger at the constant question of whether Shang-Chi emerges Doctor Strange 2, the actor signed things off with no enthusiasm, telling his fans that they were the “best fans ever.” A screenshot of his Instagram story can be seen below:

Liu has had to deny claims of his involvement several times in recent months, telling interviewers that he will not show up. Multiverse to Madness already includes a star-studded line-up, with Rachel McAdams returning as Christine Palmer, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, and a new addition to MCU, America Chavez played by Xochitl Gomez, and others. Provides a wide range of characters set to be displayed Doctor Strange 2, an appearance from Liu as Shang-Chi would not have disappeared from the area.

Even if this request might prevent Liu from asking about it in the future, it probably won’t stop rumors and discussion among fans. Many actors have to refuse to participate in MCU projects just to get them to the end, so even if Shang-Chi becomes part of Multiverse in Madness, Liu could hardly tell anyone if the look was a surprise. Even if it’s fun in theory, fans will likely have to wait until Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released to find out if Shang-Chi becomes part of it.
