Share Your Faith with Courage

In 2014, brothers David and Jason Benham were considered the next stars of the HGTV cable channel. Their show Move it Forward expected to be as successful as Chip and Joanna Gaines ’show, Surface Fixer.

However, five weeks into a 10 -week shooting of the film – and just a few months from the release of the first episode – David and Jason were fired. HGTV executives said activist organizations are beginning to tackle the channel and target advertisers. The reason?

The Benham brothers have no voice in speaking out on societal issues related to marriage and counter-life costs.

David and Jason now say, “We became a culture of cancellation seven years ago before it became a hashtag.”

As believers, we are called to overcome fear and anger by sharing the Gospel. However, sharing our beliefs in today’s culture can be intimidating. The message that we are all sinners in need of Christ is unpopular. And confirming the Bible teaching about marriage between a man and a woman is even more considered bigotry.

How can Christians find the strength and courage to share their faith with compassion?

We spoke with David and Jason Benham about how you can share your faith in everyday life on our Family Broadcast Focus ”Share Your Faith with Courage. ” They shared how to reach people with kindness and courageously resist ideas that are contrary to God’s Word.
